Service Levels and Semester Fees

Achieve Program service fees are billed to the student’s SIU Bursar account each semester. Subsequent semester fees are automatically billed prior to the start of the semester. An email notification is sent prior to the automatic billing at which time the student may respond with a choice of cancelling services or moving to a lower level of service.

Service Levels

Level 1: Required for all new Achieve Program students in the first semester.

Level 2: Most popular level of service selected.

Level 3: Typically used by highly independent students seeking minimal support such as graduating seniors.

Level 4: Available only for undergraduates completing their final semester on internship, graduate level students or with special approval from the program director.

Once accepted, students sign a service agreement with the Achieve Program. Review the service agreement here


All Achieve Program students are eligible for accommodations at no additional cost.

Accommodations services provided by the Achieve Program are limited to test proctoring (standard requests for quiet room, extended time, reader and scribe) and notetaking (limited to purchased notes for in-class lectures only).

The Achieve Program collaborates with the University Disability Support Services office to help with all other accommodation requests (e.g., audiobooks, text conversion, curriculum modifications, course substitutions and waivers).
